Roma are aiming to offload several out-of-favour players in the upcoming January window.
Among them are Gonzalo Villar and Carles Perez. The former continues his loan spell at Sampdoria despite several links to the MLS given Samp’s struggle to fight against relegation.
Perez, on the other hand, is reportedly unhappy with loan at Celta Vigo: only two assists and no goals in 14 appearances in La Liga. The Spanish attacker hasn’t been able to improve his form despite being given a more prominent role compared to his last two seasons at Roma.
According to Il Romanista, selling both Villar and Carles Perez is virtually impossible: both players have failed to draw concrete interest that could materialize in permanent deals.
