Ryan Friedkin is at Trigoria and has several appointments on his agenda.

Gian Piero Gasperini is particularly concerned about the players whose contracts are expiring and who are waiting to see if they can reach a new agreement to stay in the capital.

The manager’s goal is to retain as many players as possible while avoiding dismantling the current squad.

There are four open issues, involving Dybala, Pellegrini, Celik, and El Shaarawy.

The first three have the best chance of extending their current contracts under different terms, especially the Argentine and the Giallorossi number 7, who are set to take a significant pay cut.

For El Shaarawy, the situation appears more likely to lead to a departure.

El Shaarawy’s tenure is currently very difficult. La Gazzetta dello Sport reports this, while Il Messaggero also dismisses the possibility of a contract extension.

The Giallorossi’s number 92 has played little this season: 1,002 minutes, with just one goal and three assists.

It’s been a difficult year for El Shaarawy, who is preparing to bid farewell to the Roma fans in the derby against Lazio, which could be his final match at the Stadio Olimpico in a Giallorossi shirt.
