Roma unveil Grenier, continue pursuit of Donsah

Roma officially unveiled Clement Grenier today and announced: “The club is pleased to announce that a deal has been agreed with Olympique Lyonnais for the loan of Clement Grenier. The attacking midfielder joins on a temporary basis until 30 June 2017. As part of the deal, Roma have the option to make the transfer permanent. Grenier, 26, has opted to take the No. 7 shirt for the Giallorossi.”

The Frenchman marks the first reinforcement of the winter and certainly a coup given that the option to buy on the player is set at only €3.5 million.

However, their work is not done. After RomaPress exclusively interview Oliver Arthur today, the agent of Bologna midfielder Godfred Donsah, we can also report that late today there was further contact with Bologna to try to unlock the situation surrounding the Ghanaian midfielder. The Giallorossi, as of now, still plan on meeting with the entourage of the player on Monday with the hope that personal terms could be agreed upon.
