Roma are working incessantly on finding an agreement with Chelsea for the loan of Romelu Lukaku.
The Belgian attacker is Roma’s number one priority in the final days of the transfer window.
Despite the player was recently quoted by a Belgian news outlet saying he expects to land tomorrow in Italy ahead of his move to Roma, the Giallorossi’s General Manager Tiago Pinto excluded Lukaku’s arrival on Sunday, reports Sky Sport.
Upon concluding this morning’s meeting with Chelsea, Pinto urged everyone to remain patient and cautious with regards to the current negotiations.
The two clubs are going to readjourn later today as the deal is complicated and requires more work with regards to the details pertaining to the fees involved in the loan including salary coverage.
However, Roma are optimistic as both clubs want to reach an agreement as soon as possible.
