Roma are said to be considering a move for Canadian star attacker Jonathan David.

In recent days, the capital club intensified their pursuit of Youssef En-Nesyri with the aim of bringing him to Daniele De Rossi’s order as soon as possible.

However, talks for En-Nesyri have proven more difficult than initially expected, writes Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, because of Fenerbahce’s competition.

The Turkish giants have overtaken Roma in the race for the Moroccan striker and want to get the deal done in the next 48 hours after offering the player a hefty contract of over 6 million euros net.

As a result, Di Marzio reports that Roma are ready to renew talks for Jonathan David with whom they had been in touch earlier in the summer.

The Canada star is still looking to leave Lille and has yet to receive a convincing proposal.
