Roma are still tracking Davide Frattesi and are reportedly set on making him their big summer deal.

The Giallorossi haven’t stopped being in contact with Frattesi’s agent since the midfielder’s transfer from Sassuolo collapsed earlier in the summer. Now, Roma want to beat the competition in the form of Brighton and Napoli.

Roberto De Zerbi is trying to lure Frattesi to the Premier League, while Luciano Spalletti wishes to have him as his starting midfielder for next season.

According to Il Tempo, the capital club have their mind set on finding an agreement with Sassuolo for a summer move for Frattesi. Tiago Pinto is expected to resume talks with Sassuolo and reach a solution as soon as possible.
