Roma are still interested in Spanish striker Alvaro Morata.

As Morata’s future at Atletico Madrid continues to remain uncertain, Roma are planning to try and sign both him and Gianluca Scamacca before the end of this summer’s transfer window.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Roma hope to offload the likes of Roger Ibanez and Rick Karsdorp in the coming weeks in order to generate enough cash to make a proposal for Alvaro Morata.

So far, Ibanez and Karsdorp have failed to attract offers, causing Roma to halt negotiations with Atletico.

However, the capital club have already an agreement in place with Morata for a contract until 2027 and €4.5 million in wages.
