Roma welcome new management members

Roma have welcomed two new members of the club’s top management.

Following the conclusion of pre-season and the subsequent start of the new campaign, the Friedkin ownership have made it their priority to improve the commercial side of the club.

As a result, Corriere dello Sport reports that Roma have added James Sparrow and Matteo Signorini to their list of directors.

Sparrow will serve as the club’s commercial director after working for the past four years at Manchester United where he was in charge of the sales department and partnership development. This is an important function given Roma’s expanding network of partnerships and their urgent need for a main sponsor.

Signorini will work in sales coordination. He covered similar positions as a trainee at Milan, Atalanta and Inter.

Both will work under Michael Wendell and CEO Lina Souloukou.
