Roma and Sergio Oliveira have parted ways – at least for the moment – reports Il Tempo.
The Portuguese midfielder joined the capital club earlier in January on loan, and helped give Mourinho’s team a much needed boost in the midfield.
However, the Giallorossi do not intend to exercise the buy option included in the initial loan deal.
Porto’s asking price of €13 million is deemed to high by Roma.
The capital club have informed the Portuguese side that they would be willing to negotiate lower figures for the 29-year-old.
According to other reports, Roma would be willing to make Oliveira’s transfer permanent for €7-8 million.
