Roma are already looking into the long-term future of Dean Huijsen who is currently on loan from Juventus until the end of the season.

Since joining the Giallorossi in January, the 18-year-old prodigy centreback has already collected a total of 264 minutes in six appearances for the club, scoring his first goal on Monday against Cagliari.

Huijsen’s quick progress under both Jose Mourinho and, more recently, Daniele De Rossi, has prompted Roma to reconsider the terms of his stay.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma are willing to open talks with Juventus over the possibility of extending Huijsen’s loan beyond this season.

Juventus have already made it clear that they do not intend to part ways with the Dutch starlet so early on in his development. Thus, an extended loan experience for Huijsen could benefit the Bianconeri in the long run.
