Roma working on Lorenzo Pellegrini renewal, removal of buyout clause

La Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Nicolo Schira has reported that Roma is at work to renew the contract of midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini. The Giallorossi hope to remove the €30 million clause that is currently present in the midfielder’s contract and are also ready to hand him the role of vice-captain. Meanwhile, Pellegrini’s agent, Giampiero Pocetta, has received proposals from Tottenham and Arsenal.
