Roma working to renew Mancini and Zaniolo’s contracts

With the January window nearing its final days, Roma will soon begin prioritizing contract renewals for a select number of players.

Right now, Gazzetta dello Sport claims that the Giallorossi want to focus on Gianluca Mancini’s contract, quickly followed by Nicolo Zaniolo’s. The club are currently prioritizing the vice-captain’s contract given Mancini’s importance to Jose Mourinho’s men.

Both players are reportedly expected to sign renewals worth €3 million per season with additional bonuses.

Discussions regarding the renewal of Jordan Veretout have been put on hold. Meanwhile, Roma are in no hurry to discuss Cristante and Spinazzola’s extensions.

The capital club want to first see the way the current season will unfold and eventually come to an end to make such important decisions for the future.
