Recent rumors swirling around the Italian capital have linked the Giallorossi to a January investment to reinforce the right flank.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Roma are determined to find a back-up to Rick Karsdorp. The club have reportedly intensified talks with Manchester United for Diogo Dalot.
Dalot is considered a good option given his adaptability to both wings. Tiago Pinto wants to bring him in on loan with option to buy.
However, the Red Devils have rejected loan offers for the Portuguese full-back. United are reportedly looking to include an obligation that exceeds €10 million, a figure that is deemed too high by Pinto for a player whose contract is set to expire in 2023.
If talks between the clubs were to collapse, Roma have an alternative ready: Bartosz Bereszyński of Sampdoria.
The player has already given his OK for a move in January and a transfer could be secured on loan with option to buy at €6 million.
Corriere dello Sport reports that Sampdoria may also be interested in adding Riccardo Calafiori on loan for the remainder of the season.
