Last night’s disappointing loss to Atalanta saw Roma lose two more key players ahead of the international break, and – according to Italian media – the capital club are concerned about the situation.

As reported in today’s edition of Corriere della Sera, Roma are worried about Paulo Dybala and Lorenzo Pellegrini. Both players suffered muscle injuries before and during the game respectively.

The extent of these injuries needs to be further assessed by the club’s medical staff in the coming hours. Dybala and Pellegrini will undergo tests later today.

The Italian newspaper further claims that Roma have denied a departure for international duty for both players: the Giallorossi want to make sure not to aggravate the situation and therefore Paulo Dybala won’t be joining Argentina, nor will Pellegrini be joining Roberto Mancini’s Italy.
