Stephan El Shaarawy’s future at the club remains uncertain as the player enters the final year of his contract with the Giallorossi.
Although El Shaarawy himself is not actively pushing for a move, Roma are evaluating the possibility of making a profit from his sale in this transfer window given that next year the Italian international will become a free agent.
According to Il Tempo, however, the interest of several sides including Atalanta, Monza and Fiorentina, has not materialized in any official offer yet.
For the moment, El Shaarawy will train with Mourinho, but ultimately Roma will want to remain vigilant if any opportunity on the market arises and a team comes forward with a proposal for the ex-Milan man.
