Roma youngster Matteo Cancellieri joining Hellas Verona as part of Kumbulla deal

Roma youngter Matteo Cancellieri is joining Hellas Verona as part of the deal for defender Marash Kumbulla.

Sky Sport reports that the attacker, who was part of the Giallorossi’s U18 set-up last season, is departing the Italian capital to join the Venetian side permanently.

The class of 2002 attacker has long been linked with a departure from Roma after having struggled with his form throughout all of last season.

“The youngster has no desire to remain (at Roma) and we’re looking how to manage the situation,” his agent, Andrea Pastorello, revealed to Tuttosport in June.

Kumbulla is joining Roma in a deal worth a total of €30 million, but Cancellieri’s value will be included in this figure.
