Nicolo Zaniolo and the club will have to be punished for the youngster’s anti-Lazio chants during Roma’s Conference League celebrations in the Italian capital, informs Il Tempo.
The 22-year-old was reprimanded by the Italian federation for leading abusive chants along with Roma supporters on the streets of Rome earlier in the summer.
The Italian newspaper reports that Zaniolo and the club will each receive a €4,000 fine.
The Giallorossi managed to find an agreement with the FIGC in order for the money to be donated to the club’s charity program Roma Cares.
