Only two days away from the transfer deadline, Roma are closing in on securing the permanent departures of several players who have been excluded from Mourinho’s plans.
Among them is Ante Coric – the Croatian midfielder has failed to draw interest over the last few months but is now eyeing a return to Zurich where he spent the past season on loan.
According to Sportitalia, Coric is in advanced talks with Zurich with only one year remaining on his Roma contract.
The capital club are pushing to secure the transfer on a permanent basis without having to resort to the possibility of further extending his contract in order to enable a loan deal. The player himself is against any further loans and wants to permanently leave the Italian capital.
