Roma ended their first friendly in Japan with a scoreless draw with Nagoya Grampus. Jose Mourinho gave an opportunity to start to several youngsters including Missori, Bove, Cherubini and Tahirovic.
The latter – Tahirovic, whom Mourinho had praised on several occasions leading up to the international break – discussed the result in a brief post-match appearance with Retesport.
“It was a good game despite the result. I think for us it may have been difficult because of the time difference and the jet lag – we’ve had trouble sleeping the past few days, but we still played well.”
“A message to the Japanese fans? Arigato.”
