RomaPress – Roma’s Board of Directors met today to approve the 2018/2019 financial year statement and to approve a capital increase of €150,000,000. Both measures were passed during the nearly two-hour meeting, which included the presence of Roma CEO Guido Fienga and vice-president Mauro Baldissoni – but there were also a few other notable items that were revealed, including:
- Fienga mentioned that Nike has an option to extend their contract with Roma for additional ten years, however – the club is renegotiating the deal with Nike because they believe the value should be higher.
- Fienga reiterates that Roma are not in talks with the Friedkin Group about a potential sale or investment and that there has never been contact with anyone.
- Baldissoni expects that administrative process related to the Stadio della Roma to be completed soon.
- Fienga revealed that Roma continue to look for more sponsorship opportunities
