Roma’s defense allowed Osimhen and Kvara only two touches in penalty area

One of the keys to last night’s impressive 2-0 win over Napoli was Roma’s solid defending.

After their deflating loss at the Dall’Ara against Bologna, Roma looked to further tighten up their backline prior to facing Napoli, one of the league’s best attacking sides.

The defense – led by Gianluca Mancini, Diego Llorente and Evan Ndicka – worked wonders on the Napoli duo of Victor Osimhen and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

As reported by AS Roma Data, Roma’s defenders were able to limit Osimhen and Kvara to only two (2) touches in the Giallorossi’s penalty area, rendering Napoli’s attack completely helpless.
