Gianluca Mancini will surprisingly be absent from Trigoria for the entirety of this international break.
The Roma defender hadn’t received a national team call-up since June 2022 as former Italy coach Roberto Mancini never took him into account for competitive games.
However, following Luciano Spalletti’s appointment, the ex-Roma and Napoli boss gave Mancini his first call-up in over a year.
Mancini is set to travel to Coverciano today along with his Roma teammates in Bryan Cristante, Leonardo Spinazzola and Lorenzo Pellegrini.
