Roma are looking at Artem Dovbyk as a surprise reinforcement this summer.

The Ukrainian forward and this year’s La Liga top goal-scorer appears to be one step away from Atletico Madrid.

However, the player has also drawn Roma’s interest as the Giallorossi seem determined to try and overtake Atletico.

The success of Roma’s sudden attempt to hijack Atletico’s deal for the 27-year-old will depend on Tammy Abraham’s future.

According to La Repubblica, Roma’s interest in Dovbyk is directly linked with the possibility of getting rid of Abraham whose estimated price tag is valued at 30 million euros.

With Abraham gone, Roma could try and activate Dovbyk’s release clause which is set at 40 million.
