Roma have been dealt another devastating blow.
Just one day after Roma trio Davide Santon, Lorenzo Pellegrini, and Federico Fazio all tested positive for COVID-19, defender Marash Kumbulla revealed on his Instagram page that he has also tested positive for the virus.
“Hi everyone – the latest swab results showed that I tested positive for COVID-19, but luckily I’m fine and have no symptoms,” wrote the Albanian international.
“It’s been said that nobody is completely safe from this virus, so I’d like to encourage all of your to avoid doing things that could endanger your health and the health of others. I send a salute to the supporters and give my warmest thoughts to those going through a tough moment. I’ll see you on the pitch soon – stay safe and Forza Roma!”
The Giallorossi have been hit hard by the Coronavirus so far this term as Antonio Mirante, Carles Pérez, Bruno Peres, Edin Dzeko, Amadou Diawara, Riccardo Calafiori, and Pietro Boer have all tested positive throughout this season.
