Nicola Zalewski’s impressive emergence last season from Primavera player to regular start for Jose Mourinho’s Conference League-winning team did not go unnoticed.
The Polish international has been listed among the Top 20 candidates for the Golden Boy 2022 awards.
The original list included 100 names and was recently narrowed down to 20 with media members ready to vote for their favorite candidate among the U21 talents in the world.
Other names on the list include the likes of Borussia Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham, Udinese’s Destiny Udogie and Real Madrid’s Eduardo Camavinga. The winner will be announced on November 7th.
