The arrival of Paulo Dybala to the Italian capital did not go unnoticed by Giallorossi fans who, in order to support the club’s biggest signing in years, went ahead and ordered the Argentine’s jersey.

According to Corriere dello Sport, the 28-year-old set a new record in jersey sales the day following the official announcement of his transfer.

In fact, Dybala reportedly broke Cristiano Ronaldo’s record for most jerseys sold in Italy in one day.

Thus, Dybala’s surprise switch to Roma garnered more support among fans than Ronaldo’s decision to join Juventus in the summer of 2018.
