Roma goalkeeper Robin Olsen could be on the move again this month after joining Sheffield United on loan last summer.
Aston Villa boss Steven Gerrard wants to bring in a more secure, veteran presence to serve as a backup to first choice shot-stopper Emiliano Martinez.
According to Fabrizio Romano of Sky Sport, the Premier League side have already agreed to personal terms with the Swedish international. However, Sheffield United still haven’t decided whether or not they’re willing to terminate his loan with the club.
Olsen recently lost his place under manager Paul Heckingbottom after he suffered an injury during the November international break. Second-choice goalkeeper Wes Foderingham performed well during his absence and it’s doubtful the club want to make a change.
Roma must sign-off on any transfer deal involving Olsen because the club continues to pay the majority of his wages.

Olsen loan would eventually be terminated – and so he’d join Aston Villa on loan until end of the season. But it’s not full agreed yet.
