Roma’s senior players insist to Fonseca: it’s a tactical problem, not mental

Roma’s struggles since the start of 2020 have been no secret and the club is trying to find solutions to get out of this difficult period.

Il Messaggero journalist Eleonora Trotta has reported that following training this morning at Trigoria, Roma boss Paulo Fonseca had a face-to-face summit with some of the Giallorossi’s veteran players.

Reportedly, the players made it clear that the problems with the team have to do with tactics, not their mentality — as Fonseca alluded to in his post-match press conference after their loss against Atalanta.

It remains to be seen if anything will come from this meeting Fonseca and the players.
