Today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport reveals that Roma had renewed talks with Sassuolo for midfielder Davide Frattesi, a long-time target of the Giallorossi, in January.
Negotiations collapsed, however, once Nicolo Zaniolo decided to reject Bournemouth’s offer which would have enabled Roma to make an immediate proposal for Frattesi.
As a result, talks have been postponed until June. In the meantime, Juventus have also inquired about the Italian midfielder and are now trying to enter the race for the 23-year-old.
