Virginia Raggi, the mayor of Rome, appeared on Radio Rock this morning and addressed the status of the Stadio della Roma.
Roma have been working on this project for over 8 years, however, bureaucratic issues in the city’s government have led to several delays.
“The Stadio della Roma is a huge project — the largest that the city has ever had,” said Raggi.
”We have never stopped working on it. The Conferenza dei Servizi approved the project with a series of alterations. We are working with the club to comply with the regulations: soon there will be news”.
The Giallorossi first introduced the stadium project in 2012. The stadium is set to be constructed in the Tor di Valle neighborhood on Rome.
