Romelu Lukaku is on his way to make full recovery following a few days of rest as a result of a chronic groin injury.

The Roma striker is currently away on international duty with the Belgian national team of Domenico Tedesco.

Due to him not training with the group over these last few days, a decision has been made to allow Lukaku to skip the upcoming friendly with Ireland.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, however, Lukaku seems to have been cleared for the next friendly with England.

Upon his return to the Italian capital, Lukaku will be expected to start for the Giallorossi in their match against Lecce on 1 April.
