Roma attacker Romelu Lukaku was once again on the team’s score sheet to seal the win in the friendly against Al Shabab.
The Belgian international was interviewed at full-time in Riyadh by Roma TV.
“It was important to win today,” said Lukaku. “For us there are no friendly matches and we always want to win in training too.”
“We won today and it was a good test to understand where we are as a team, and from tomorrow in Trigoria we will start preparing for the difficult match on Monday against Salernitana.”
“We’ve all gotten to know De Rossi really well. I think we all have a responsibility to get Roma back to the top of the table and move forward in the Europa League. These are our goals and we work to achieve them every day.”
