Roma are worried about the conditions of Romelu Lukaku who was recently forced to abandon the pitch in the first half of Roma-Milan.

The Belgian striker was unable to continue the match after suffering what appears to be a muscle issue that could sideline him for the next couple of weeks.

According to Il Messaggero, Lukaku is yet to undergo tests at Trigoria – he is scheduled to undergo them later today.

In the meantime, however, the club are not optimistic about his recovery for the match against Bologna on Monday.

De Rossi could choose not risk the player and thus avoid rushing his return.

Lukaku, on the other hand, has made it clear that he intends to be back at De Rossi’s disposal for the first leg of the Europa League semifinals with Bayer Leverkusen scheduled on 2 May.
