Romelu Lukaku continues to nurse an injury that he recently played through in the match against Sassuolo.

After having been rested on Thursday against Brighton, Lukaku featured from the start for Roma on Sunday before joining the Belgian national team of Domenico Tedesco on the following day.

However, his condition is still far from optimal.

As announced by the Red Devils on Twitter, Lukaku is dealing with an overloaded groin and will not play against Ireland.

However, Lukaku will still travel with the team and remain at Tedesco’s disposal for the duration of the international break.
