Romelu Lukaku returned on the score sheet earlier tonight for his national team.
The Roma forward got off to a hot start with Belgium in today’s playoff match with Estonia in the EURO 2024 qualifiers.
Lukaku – who started the match with the captain’s armband – helped secure an emphatic 5-0 win by providing an assist in the first half and scoring a rapid-fire brace before coming off shortly afterwards.
The attacker will make his return to Rome tomorrow and begin training with Mourinho’s team right away ahead of the upcoming Serie A game with Empoli on Sunday.
