Romelu Lukaku is expected to feature for his national team in the upcoming friendly match with England.

The Belgian striker was recently rested as he continued to nurse a chronic groin injury that had prevented him from playing in Roma’s return leg of the Europa League of 16 with Brighton over a week ago.

Despite this injury, Lukaku was allowed to join The Red Devils during this international break while being closely monitored by the team’s medical staff.

Upon further consultation with Belgium boss Domenico Tedesco, Corriere dello Sport reports the two agreed to have Lukaku feature for at least a few minutes in the upcoming friendly with England as the player’s condition seems to have considerably improved over the last few days.
