Romelu Lukaku is on his way to making full recovery after sitting out the past few weeks with a hamstring injury. The Belgian international has remained in Milan during the international break with the objective of recovering in time for the showdown at San Siro with Jose Mourinho’s Roma.
According to Corriere dello Sport, the ex-Chelsea striker is expected to return to the starting line-up on October 1st and provide Inzaghi’s men with a much needed boost after their disappointing recent string of results.
In the meantime, Turkish midfielder Hakan Çalhanoğlu is still doubtful for the match as he continues to train individually at Appiano Gentile.
