Romelu Lukaku is hoping to accelerate the progress of recovery from his most recent injury.
The Belgian striker is currently sidelined with a calf issue which has prevented him from being called up for Roma’s latest defeat to Bologna.
As reported by Corriere dello Sport, Lukaku wants to be available for the upcoming weekend fixture versus Napoli.
On that occasion, Lukaku could come off the bench in the hopes of being able to start in the crucial first leg of the Europa League semi’s with Bayer Leverkusen next week.
