Romelu Lukaku is enjoying his time at Roma to the point that he is eager to consider a permanent transfer to the capital.
The striker joined the Giallorossi in the summer on a dry loan from Chelsea.
However, Roma are so pleased with his output and leadership that they have already launched preliminary inquiries with Chelsea with the hopes of making Lukaku’s deal permanent.
According to Il Tempo, the ex-Inter man would be happy to stay at the club and has already instructed his entourage to consider any long-term plans at Roma.
For the moment the main obstacle is two-fold including the player’s elevated wages and Chelsea’s asking price of around €40 million.
