La Gazzetta dello Sport have reported that the roster of Roma is set for somewhat of a “revolution” this summer.

Monchi has been tasked, at the request of Pallotta on suggestion of Franco Baldini, has been tasked with helping launch and keep hold of some of the younger talent of the Giallorossi. Some names to keep an eye on include: Lorenzo Pellegrini (who will be repurchased from Sassuolo for €10 million and will either remain or be sold to the highest bidder), Daniele Verde, Thiago Cassasola, Ezequiel Ponce, and Sadiq Umar. One name, though, who will certainly leave is Arturo Calabresi, who has played well with Brescia but will likely move on from Roma as his contract expires.

Meanwhile, Monchi will also search outside of Trigoria. One of the hottest names linked to Roma is that of Clement Lenglet. The class of ’95 Sevilla defender was bought by Monchi in January from Nancy is one of the brown jewels in the eye of the Spaniard. The French youngster would also make a perfect partner for Antonio Rüdiger should Kostas Manolas be sold. Rodrigo Caio of Sao Paulo is also a name Monchi likes. The young defender just renewed his contract with the Brazilian, club, however, he could be available for nearly €15 million. Monchi also has his eye on Yuri of Santos and Ascacibar of Estudiantes.
