Ruben Providence joins Estoril

Roma prospect Ruben Providence has officially joined Portuguese side Estoril on loan for the remainder of the season.

The 20 year-old spent the first half of the season on loan with Club Brugge, however, he failed to make a single appearance under manager Alfred Schreuder. The lack of playing time prompted Providence and his representatives to find a new club.

The Giallorossi held talks with multiples clubs but the attacker ultimately preferred to move to Portugal until June. The club wanted the youngster to gain first-team experience on a smaller stage after he spent the previous two seasons with their Primavera side.

Providence originally joined the Giallorossi from PSG in the summer of 2019 for a fee of nearly €500,000.
