Former Roma player Ruggiero Rizzitelli – one of the most vocal supporters of Roma’s summer transfer business – discussed the importance of signing Andrea Belotti as Tammy Abraham’s back-up striker.
“Dybala and Belotti are a wonderful partnership, the same one we saw in Palermo all those years ago,” Rizzitelli told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“It’s an important signal for Abraham. Having a back-up striker who’s scored over 100 Serie A goals will push him to do even more and not let his guard down.”
“I don’t believe in the Scudetto. It’s too difficult. One thing I can say is that we, Roma fans, always win at the Olimpico. With Monza it was ninth consecutive sold out stadium.”
“After the victory of the Conference League, more than a hundred thousand Romanisti took to the streets, imagine winning a Scudetto after more than twenty years…”
