RomaPress – Portuguese international Rui Patricio touched down at Fiumicino Airport late this morning to complete his move to Roma.
The 33 year-old landed in the Italian capital at 11.25 CET on Air Portugal flight TP834 from Lisbon before undergoing his medical at Villa Stuart.
The shot-stopper will cost the club €11.5 million plus bonuses, however, they do not have to begin paying the fee until next summer, corresponding to when Pau Lopez’s loan move at Marseille will be made permanent.
Patricio, who cut his post-Euro 2020 holiday short in order to get the transfer over the finish line, will pen a three-year deal with the Giallorossi as he becomes the first acquisition of the José Mourinho era.
