Roma’s poor start to the season can be partly attributed to the team’s lack of defensive solidity.
Unlike last year – when Roma ranked among the best defensive sides in Europe – the Giallorossi are struggling to keep the ball out of the back of their net.
In only 6 games, Roma have conceded a staggering 11 goals with Rui Patricio currently being named Serie A’s worst goal-keeper due to the lowest saves percentage in Italy’s top flight.
Patricio has only 47.4% of successful saves which indicates an average of one goal conceded for each two shots on goal allowed.
