Following a convincing second half performance against Helsinki in the Europa League, Roma are now looking to further improve their league record in the upcoming Serie A showdown with Atalanta.
Giallorossi goalkeeper Rui Patricio talked about the importance of this match in an interview with the club after the final whistle.
“Now it is important for us to recover as much energy as possible because we have an important challenge on Sunday,” said the Portuguese shot-stopper.
“Tonight we played a good match, in the second half we played better but winning was what mattered.”
“We’ve grown in every single game we’ve played so far this season,” Patricio added. “Sunday will be another important opportunity for us to do better. It will be very important.”
