Roma keeper Rui Patricio praised his team’s defensive effort which has allowed them to record 9 clean sheets in Italy so far in 2023.
Following last night’s win over Udinese and his crucial save of the opponent’s penalty kick in the second half, Patricio spoke to Roma TV about the team’s efforts in 2023.
It was a very important match for us. We played a difficult game against a difficult team, but the important thing is that we won,” said the veteran shot-stopper.
“Not conceding any goals is important,” he added. “Just as it is important to score them. We have to keep working to not concede goals, if we do we have a better chance of winning games. We have to keep working.”
