Roma shot-stopper Rui Patricio discussed the team’s training camp in Portugal which came to an end last night.
After Wednesday night’s friendly with Farense – which resulted in a 4:2 win for the Giallorossi – Patricio spoke about Roma’s ambitions and work ethic ahead of the upcoming season.
“Everything is working well because we are working on all aspects of our game,” Patricio told reporters at full-time. “It has been very intense training camp. Now it’s a question of continuing to work to refine the details in view of the start of the campaign.”
“Our goal is to do better than last year. It’s true, it’s Mourinho’s third year and it’s also my third year here. We must all have the idea of always improving and having ambition because at the end of the day this matters the most – having this mentality and the goal of winning trophies.”
“My future? I don’t think in those terms. I want to work hard and not look beyond into the future.”
