Roma are expected to welcome back from international duty their starting goal-keeper Rui Patricio on 20 December.
The veteran shot-stopper cut his vacation short following Portugal’s elimination from the World Cup in order to join Roma’s training camp in Algarve as soon as possible.
In the meantime, back-up goalie Mile Svilar has faired badly so far, both in Japan and Roma’s first Portuguese friendly with Cadiz.
Svilar will make one last appearance in the upcoming match with Casa Pia before handing over the gloves to Patricio.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Svilar is unlikely to see any considerable minutes for the rest of the season, with Patricio taking over goal-keeping duties at least until the end of this year’s campaign.
