Rui Patricio to undergo medical with Roma on Monday

Rui Patricio is getting ready to become Roma’s new goalkeeper. The 33-year-old has had an agreement with the club for almost a month.

Finally, Sky Sport report that the Portuguese international will undergo his medical in Rome on Monday. Roma will pay a fee of around €11 million to Wolverhampton, where Patricio performed over the past three years.

After meeting with Jorge Mendes, Patricio’s agent, earlier in the week, General Manager Tiago Pinto was able to finalize the last details of the deal. The shot-stopper will be the club’s first acquisition in this mercato, with the player being Mourinho’s preferred choice in goal.
