Rui Patricio will be entering his third season with Roma.
The Portuguese shot-stopper will once again be the first-choice goalie for Jose Mourinho’s team as Mile Svilar is expected to continue filling in as his back-up.
According to Corriere dello Sport, this will likely be Patricio’s final year with the Giallorossi.
His time seems directly linked with Jose Mourinho’s tenure as well as Nuno Santos – Mourinho’s close friend, collaborator and goal-keeper coach who is on very good terms with Patricio.
Both Mourinho and Nuno Santos are expected to reach the expiry of their respective contracts at the end of this season, with Patricio likely to follow in their footsteps.
